This is an old video obviously. I don’t know when it was originally filmed. But what I like about it is that it features two great musical minds in the studio. I have always had respect for Will.I.Am’s production. I always admired his well chosen instruments, pristine mixing and general production quality, and his stellar versatility. The last Will.I.Am solo studio album - Songs About Girls - was cruelly under rated.

One song off of the record called Impatient was later was used as the beat for Estelle’s hugely popular American Boy.

This video shows that Will.I.Am was doing some other double dipping when he worked with with Michael Jackson. Specifically you can hear an instrumental playing at 1:02 in the video clip which later become a track called Fly Girl on Songs about Girls.
