Category : Live In The Studio, Uncategorized

My Axiom 49

I have been needing a new control keyboard for a minute now. This keyboard has a combination of the features I have been looking for: A drum pad, semi-weighted keys, and assignable sliders and knobs. Plus it even has play/pause and record buttons.

Look out for videos coming out soon which will have me pounding away at this beast to make it roar.

Taz from Sa-ra Creative Partners has generated a lot of attention to himself of late. This video shows off his other creative pursuits and lets you into his studio.

Be prepared, he’s kinda a wierdo.

Rare studio tour with Sebino

Category : Live In The Studio, Youtube

On a recent trip to LA I was able to catch up with my good friend and a constant source of inspiration, Sebino. We sat in his humble studio apartment in Los Feliz and he shared with me a few new songs and his new approach to beats.

This track is a collaboration he did with a local MC. It’s super hot, and I think it is a good representation of Sebino’s beats. However, with full access to the LA School of Recording other new tracks he showed me had a strong live element.

He has been collaborating with a ton of talented folks who help him garnish his beats by adding drums, bass, keys, and guitar.

Check out more music from Sebino here.
