This week’s Brand Old Sample is from Ahmad Jamal. The record is called “Ghetto Child” off his Jamaica album. Kanye West sampled it when he made the beat for Common’s record “They Say.”

It has been several weeks since the last Brand Old Sample on Oodles and I apologize for that. I know that many of you look forward BOS on a weekly basis.

Do avoid droping the ball again I am making some changes to make it easier on me to update and keep BOS new each week. Instead of playing a guessing game with you, I will share a sample and give you the background of where the sample has been used in the same post.
